Kitchen Witch Lessons

"There is much to be learned to be a Kitchen Witch, or Warlock. One much learn the skills of cooking. Then there is learning what properties of nourishment each herb, spice and food has. What foods, like the puffer fish, need special preparation to keep from being harmful. Add to that, learning what powers and magickal properties each of the ingredients have. We're not done yet. You still need to learn how to mix these ingredients so that they: taste good; provide a balanced diet; impart the desired healing properties; have the right magickal properties; and don't forget to add your intent in there too. And there is the matter of how much medicinal, how much magical, and how much "it just tastes good" needs to go into each recipe. No wonder so many people end up just nuking a hot pocket, eh?

Being a Kitchen Witch or Warlock is not easy. But it is satisfying. When you watch someone: heal from an illness; react to the energies of your working; or close their eyes and go "mmmmmmmm" over something that you have created, there is a feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment that is hard to acquire in any other way."
